Business Process Management – BPM

Unifreight provides tools that help define, automate and monitor business processes. Unifreight’s BPM tools allow organizations to improve and standardize functions across the company, and provides employees visibility into the status of processes, making it easier for them to execute their tasks effectively.

The major facilities of Unifreight’s Business Process Management system include:

  • Event Management engine for keeping track of all activities occurring in the system, and notifying the relevant parties when a change and discrepancy occurs. Events can be defined per entity, and event maps defining the workflow for handling an entity can be created per work process.
  • Results engine that automatically executes rules based on trigger events and logical definitions, for Exception Handling, for running the Alerts mechanism, and for operating Unassisted Customer Service that automatically transmits information – e-mail or fax messages, data packages, tasks -  to designated partners and users.
  • Follow-Up engine designed to control the processing workflow of Unifreight entities – shipments, orders, containers, and others - based on status and profile definitions. The workflow engine automatically monitors the execution of each stage to assure its timely processing and allows users to quickly determine the exact state of a stage.
  • Instructions tool for preparing texts that contain instructions, explanations, notifications, alerts, or other information, and displaying them to users while working with pre-selected components throughout the system. Instructions can be dispatched upon the occurrence of a condition, and they can be defined to prevent users from performing a process.
  • Task Management: User-specific, entity-related jobs that users are expected to track through completion. Tasks are generated automatically by the various BPM tools, and they can also be created manually.
  • Statistics and KPI that facilitate informed decision-making - detailed statistical analyses on shipments, with breakdowns by partners, destinations, ports, and many more. KPIs for tracing performance and applying ISO procedures.
